A main view of the model.
A closer view of the apse. (skewed perspective to include more detail)
Here is a fly through of the 3d model. It is slow so feel free to skip ahead. It does an aerial circle into a slower interior closeup at eye level. I did not take measurements of the exterior, only the interior and therefore the outside probably will not look correct at all (if the outside needs modeled, I can do that too). A close look should be taken at the spacing between the windows in the apse. When I took measurements I used the middle window distances (height, depth, width, and the wall distance to the next window), assuming the others were approximately identical. When drawn in CAD the measured spacing distance was too long. I scrunched the spacing angle into the 180 arc of the apse for an equidistant 9 windows, so there could be a discrepancy.
Comments by email or in the comments box below are welcome. Once I get the ok for this model, I can easily take as many scale CAD line drawing sections, elevations, etc as I need to use as templates for the laser cutter we have in the Architecture Department. I can use foam board if that is preferred although I like using either basswood or matte-board as I can get cleaner cuts and it takes to painting a little better.
